Tripura: 3 workers die after inhaling toxic gas while cleaning well

Agartala: Three labourers lost their lives after suffocating while cleaning a well at a school in Tripura's Sepahijala district.

Sambhu Kumar Debbarma (38), Sukramani Murasingh (32), and Ashok Kumar Tripura (21) were hired by the school authorities in Dakshin Taibandal to clean the well.

Police suspect the men died due to inhaling toxic fumes emanating from the well, which was also filled with garbage.

Firefighters and emergency personnel rushed to the scene, located about 100 kilometers from Agartala, and retrieved the bodies.
