Assam: Woman's body found on Lachit Express in Rangia, investigation underway

Guwahati: A police team on Tuesday discovered the body of an unidentified woman aboard the Lachit Express train near Rangia, Assam.

The body was located in the designated coach for individuals with disabilities during the train's journey from Murkongselek to Guwahati.

The cause of death and the woman's identity remain undetermined.

An investigation has been initiated in connection with the incident. 

The police said that they are looking at all angles into the incident.

No one has been arrested or detained so far in connection with the incident.
