Guwahati: A road accident occurred early Friday morning in Tetelia, on the outskirts of Guwahati, when a Maruti Ertiga carrying seven people collided with a stationary truck.
The crash claimed the lives of two individuals, identified as Hafizuddin of Mariperpar and Imran Ali of Adhar Khunda, Juria.

Six other passengers, including women and children, were injured in the accident.
Local residents reported that the accident took place around 4:30 AM, and poor visibility during the early winter hours may have contributed to the crash.
Eyewitnesses reported hearing a loud noise and rushing to the scene, where they found the car had crashed and two people were dead on the spot.
The vehicle was reportedly en route to Shillong for a medical emergency.
