Assam: Heroin worth Rs 4 crore seized in North Guwahati
Guwahati: A police team seized Rs 4 crore worth of suspected heroin in a major drug bust in North Guwahati of Kamrup, Assam.
Two individuals were arrested during the operation, which was conducted by the State Task Force (STF).

The heroin was found concealed in a truck that was intercepted in Amingaon.
The truck was travelling from Mizoram to Barpeta, Assam.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Mofiz Uddin and Lalchan Badsha.
This seizure follows another major drug bust in Karimganj district earlier this week, where authorities seized Rs 42 crore worth of drugs.
Three individuals were arrested in connection with that incident.
