Speaking about the event, organizer Bilkish Begum expressed her delight at the overwhelming response from the community.

"We are thrilled to see so many people come together to celebrate art and creativity. Our goal was to create a platform where local artists could showcase their talent, and we are grateful for the support we have received," she said.

Fellow organizer Chaya Giri echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the importance of nurturing artistic expression in the community.

"Art has the power to inspire, provoke thought, and foster connections. By organizing events like this, we hope to foster a greater appreciation for the arts and provide a platform for emerging artists to gain exposure," she added.

The exhibition also provided an opportunity for visitors to interact with the artists and learn more about their creative process.

Many artists were on hand to discuss their work, offering insights into the inspiration behind their pieces and sharing stories from their artistic journey.

Roshni Jain, one of the organizers, highlighted the collaborative spirit of the event, which brought together artists and art enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds.

"Art has the ability to transcend boundaries and bring people together. We are proud to have created a space where artists and the community can come together to celebrate creativity," she said.

The exhibition received praise from attendees for its organization, diversity of artworks, and the vibrant atmosphere.

Many expressed hope that similar events would be organized in the future to continue showcasing the talent and creativity of Guwahati's burgeoning art scene.

Shabiba Haque, another organiser of the event, said: “Honestly, initially, I wasn't very interested in pursuing art. However, I decided to give it a try because, as a non-artist, I didn't have much knowledge about art. Over time, I've realized that I may not be perfect, but I'm dedicated to giving my best, constantly striving to improve and evolve. My goal is to represent myself as a skilled professional artist in the Northeast.”

“My journey has been akin to a roller-coaster ride, with its ups and downs, challenges, and moments of triumph. Despite the uncertainties, I remain hopeful and determined to continue growing and making my mark in the world of art,” she added.

As the sun set on Ambikagiri Park, the art exhibition drew to a close, leaving attendees inspired and uplifted by the creativity and talent on display.

With the success of this event, organizers are already looking ahead to future opportunities to promote the arts and nurture local talent in Guwahati.
