Tripura: Engineer dies of electrocution, minister orders probe

AGARTALA: An engineer with the Tripura health department tragically died from electrocution on Saturday (May 25).

The incident occurred while he was doing maintenance work.

Tripura power minister Ratan Lal Nath has ordered a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the engineer's death.

The probe has been ordered in a bid to uncover any lapses in safety protocols and prevent future occurrences.

The Tripura minister extended condolences to the bereaved family and stressed on the importance of strict adherence to safety measures in all electrical maintenance tasks.
