Tripura: Meghalaya CM, Northeast leaders to join Tipra Motha rally in Agartala
Agartala: Tipra Motha Party founder Pradyot Kishore Debbarma on Saturday said that several leaders from the northeast region, including Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, will attend the party’s rally in Tripura, scheduled for November 27.
Interacting with media at MBB Airport in Agartala, Debbarma said, “We are organising a mass rally at Swami Vivekananda Maidan here in Agartala.
Leaders like Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, Mmhonlumo Kikhon, Daniel Langthasa, and several other leaders from the northeast region will attend the rally.”
Responding to a query about the One Northeast platform, Debbarma said, “The talks have progressed significantly. We are looking forward to giving concrete shape to this Pan-Northeast platform. It is always better to speak with one voice rather than addressing the same issue individually. People, regardless of their identities or state, are coming together under the same roof to form a collective voice to address grievances.”
He added, “Delhi doesn’t have time to listen to people asking for the same thing separately. The issues are the same, but the voices are scattered.”
