RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat starts Tripura tour, meetings with BJP leaders on cards

AGARTALA: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat started his highly anticipated six-day visit to Tripura on Thursday (May 23).

He arrived at the Maharaja Bir Bikram (MBB) Airport in Agartala in the afternoon, adhering to his pre-arranged schedule, and proceeded directly to Sevadham in Khayerpur.

During his stay, Bhagwat is expected to meet with top leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Tripura, including members of the state council of ministers and BJP MLAs.

The exact purpose and agenda of Bhagwat’s visit to Tripura have not been disclosed, fuelling widespread speculation among political analysts.
