AGARTALA: Senior Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi led a massive roadshow in Tripura West on Tuesday (April 16).

Priyanka Gandhi led the Congress roadshow to garner support for party’s candidate in Tripura West Lok Sabha constituency – Ashish Kumar Saha.

A sea of people turned up for the Congress roadshow, which was led by Priyanka Gandhi.

Addressing the crowd, Priyanka Gandhi reiterated Congress’s commitment to delivering “comprehensive justice” to all sections of society.

She highlighted the party's ambitious agenda, which includes the promise of creating 30 lakh jobs, ensuring minimum support price (MSP) for farmers, providing an annual subsidy of Rs 1 lakh to women, allocating land to the landless, and offering free education up to the 12th standard for children.

During her visit to Tripura, Priyanka Gandhi lent her support to Ashish Kumar Saha, the Congress candidate and president of the Tripura Congress.

Notably, Ashish Kumar Saha had previously contested the Tripura assembly elections, where he narrowly missed victory by a margin of only 1000 votes against the chief minister Manik Shah.

Priyanka Gandhi expressed confidence in Ashish Kumar Saha’s leadership.

As Priyanka Gandhi’s roadshow traversed through the streets of Tripura West, the atmosphere was charged with excitement and anticipation.

“In the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the people of Tripura have a crucial opportunity to choose a path of positive change and development,” said Priyanka Gandhi.
