Agartala: Tripura chief minister Manik Saha, on Thursday (July 18), asserted that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates would secure victory in all seats in the upcoming panchayat elections in the state.

He said that the BJP will win the panchayat elections in Tripura with the trust and blessings of the people of the state.

Saha expressed his optimism about BJP's prospects in the upcoming panchayat elections in Tripura.

"Our candidates are poised to win with overwhelming support in the panchayat elections, thanks to the trust and blessings of the people," Tripura chief minister Manik Saha stated.

Saha began the day by leading a rally for the West Tripura Zila Parishad candidates in Agartala.

Following this, he performed a puja at the Tripurasundari Temple before heading a second nomination filing rally in Udaipur.

Joined by other leaders, Saha participated in a grand procession supporting the candidates after the Puja.

Thursday (July 18) was the final day for submitting nomination papers for the upcoming panchayat elections in Tripura.

"A significant number of supporters gathered during the submission of nomination papers in Agartala and Udaipur," Tripura CM Manik Saha said.

He said: Our leaders, ministers, legislators, and officials were all present, demonstrating the widespread support for our candidates."

"With the people's blessings, we are confident of our victory," the Tripura chief minister added.

In Agartala, the rally saw the participation of Tripura BJP president Rajib Bhattacharya, Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor and MLA Dipak Majumdar, among other prominent party leaders.

In Udaipur, Tripura finance minister Pranajit Singha Roy, MLA Abhishek Debroy, Tripura BJP general secretary Bipin Debbarma, and others joined the rally, showcasing united support for the party candidates.
