Tripura Sees Significant Decline in Crimes, Says CM Manik Saha

Agartala: Chief Minister Manik Saha emphasized on Friday that the present state government is determined to establish good governance in Tripura, stating that various types of crimes have been reduced due to the rule of law.

“Development work can be done better if harmony is maintained. Different types of crimes have decreased because of the rule of law in the state, and the current government is committed to establishing good governance”, Saha said.

The Chief Minister said that the state police has a glorious history of 150 years.

“Many times, people face various problems in the social system. The State Police takes quick steps to address the issues of common people. Criminal activity in the state has significantly reduced compared to previous years. Efforts by the State Police to increase public awareness are ongoing, and success is being achieved,” he stated.

He also addressed the issue of youth addiction to drugs, calling for more anti-drug operations. Furthermore, he reiterated that the government is determined to protect women.
