National Institute of Technology (NIT) Agartala Tripura is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) & one Project Assistant (PA) on contractual basis in the project entitled "Characterization and popularization of Spirulina biomass cultivation as viable product and commercial exploitation of Spirulina biomass towards product development"

Eligibility Criteria :
Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science (Microbiology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetic Engineering, or Allied life sciences)
OR
Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Biotechnology & Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biosciences and Bioengineering, Food Engineering/Technology and allied disciplines) selected through a process described through any one of the following-
A. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests-CSIR-UGC NET Including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE
B. Selection process through national level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, HT, IISc, IISER etc (As per DST Memorandum No. SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated 30th January, 2019)
Salary : Rs. 31000.00 + 8% HRA for first two years and Rs. 35000.00 + 8% HRA for last one year

Salary : Rs. 20,000.00 per month (Fixed)
