Tripura: Cricket joy turns tragedy, 1 dead, another injured in Agartala bike crash

Agartala: A joyous celebration of Saturday night's T20 match transformed into a devastating event in Agartala, the capital city of Tripura.

Two young locals, Ratul Banik and Roni Sutradhar, were involved in a head-on collision between their two-wheelers, leaving one dead and another critically injured.

According to reports, Ratul Banik was riding a scooter while Roni Sutradhar was on a motorcycle. The cause of the accident remains under investigation, but it appears both riders lost control of their vehicles before the fatal impact.

The tragic incident claimed the life of Ratul Banik on the spot. Roni Sutradhar, who sustained severe injuries, was rushed to GB Pant Hospital by local residents and is currently receiving treatment.

This heartbreaking event has cast a pall over the Agartala community, raising concerns about road safety during celebrations.
