During night patrolling, alert BSF personnel noticed a group of people throwing an object over the border fence.

On being challenged, the suspects fled the scene.

A Quick Response Team (QRT) of BSF swiftly reached the site and launched a search of the area.

After an extensive search, the team recovered a packet containing 9,100 Yaba addictive tablets.

As per BSF sources, the seizure took place on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday.

The BSF foiled yet another cross-border smuggling attempt and reaffirmed its commitment to combating drug trafficking in Tripura and ensuring the safety and security of the region.
