Assam: Three arrested for drug peddling in Dibrugarh

Dibrugarh: Assam Police made a significant drug bust on Monday night, arresting three individuals and seizing 12 grams of suspected heroin in the Tinikunia area of Dibrugarh.

The accused, identified as Adil Qureshi, Kabir Qureshi, and Wassim Hussain, have a history of criminal involvement, said a police official.

Police officials stated that the trio was actively involved in drug peddling and distribution in the area.

The seized drugs, along with cash and a scooter used for transportation, have been confiscated, the official said.

A police official said that the raid was carried out based on secret inputs regarding drugs.

The official said that based on the input, they launched an operation and arrested the suspected three drug peddlers.
