Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University (KKHSOU) Guwahati Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Associate Professor in Indian Knowledge System on contractual basis. The motto of KKHSOU is “Education Beyond Barriers.” KKHSOU aims to advance education by reaching out to the learners of all backgrounds. The university has a commitment to delivering easily accessible and quality higher education and training to all potential learners. The University Grants Commission, in a letter dated 18/03/2009 with reference no. F.9-13/2008(CPP-I), gave the university the power to confer Degrees under Section 22 of the UGC Act, 1956. It is the 14th Open University in India, alongside IGNOU. The University's Headquarters is at Patgaon, Rani, Guwahati.
