ITANAGAR: The Ju-Jitsu Association of India chose 10 athletes from Arunachal Pradesh to represent the country at the 8th Asian Ju-Jitsu Championship-2024, underway at Abu Dhabi in UAE.

The championship began on May 01 and will conclude on May 08.

The initial group of the Indian contingent, consisting of senior athletes and coaches, already arrived in Abu Dhabi.

According to Langkung Tatu, the general secretary of the Arunachal Ju-Jitsu Association, the second group, consisting of junior athletes, is expected to arrive in the country soon.

The selected team members from Arunachal Pradesh include: Gichek Bhai, Langkung Rade, Tap Menia, Dongda Taruk, Sangha Tader, Byabang Bhupai, Langkung Adam, Langkung Duta, Langkung Meying, and Nangbia Tader.
