Digboi: The 25th edition of the IndianOil SERVO Masters Golf Tournament is set for a high-profile finale this year, with several eminent personalities expected to grace the concluding day on November 21.

Their participation is expected to further elevate the stature of the prestigious event and reinforce Digboi’s growing prominence on India’s golfing map.

The tournament week will begin under significant official attention, with the Director (Refineries) scheduled to visit Digboi on November 16.

Meanwhile, the district administration on Friday initiated coordination with Assam Oil Division (AOD) Digboi to streamline VVIP protocol arrangements, ensuring seamless movement and security for the distinguished guests.

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (Assam Oil Division) is hosting the 25th edition of the IndianOil SERVO Masters Golf Tournament from November 17 to 21 at the scenic Digboi Golf Links, under the aegis of the TATA Steel Professional Golf Tour of India (TATA Steel PGTI).

The event remains the longest-running tournament on India’s professional golf circuit and stands as the premier golfing competition of Northeast India.

The championship returns with renewed momentum following an exciting 2024 edition that delivered top-tier competition and a gripping finish.

Seasoned Bangladeshi golfer Jamal Hossain overcame stiff competition from multiple contenders with a composed final-round performance of one-under 71 to clinch the title at the INR 85 lakh IndianOil SERVO Masters 2024.

Last year’s edition featured 114 participants, including 111 professionals and three amateurs, with the top 50 and ties cutting the second round.

The strong field and consistent competitive depth are expected to continue this year, adding to the anticipation as players arrive from across India and overseas.

As Digboi prepares to host the silver jubilee edition of the tournament, the atmosphere is set for a vibrant week of world-class golf, distinguished visitors, and enthusiastic spectators.

The IndianOil SERVO Masters continues to strengthen its legacy as one of the most iconic and enduring sporting events in the region.
