Sitting Arunachal MLAs, two each from Congress & NPP, likely to join BJP

ITANAGAR: As many as five sitting MLAs in Arunachal Pradesh from the opposition, two from the Congress, two from the National People’s Party (NPP) and an independent legislator, are reportedly likely to join the ruling BJP.

The sitting MLAs from Arunachal Pradesh, who reportedly are likely to join the BJP, are senior politicians from the Northeast state.

Ninong Ering is among the two Congress MLAs, who is likely to join the saffron party, reports claim.

The other Arunachal Pradesh Congress MLA, who is also likely to have join the BJP is Wanglin Lowangdong.

On the other hand, the two NPP legislators, who reportedly are likely to join the BJP are Gokar Basar and Mutchu Mithi.

Meanwhile, Tirap MLA Chakat Aboh – an independent legislator and wife of former MLA Tirong Aboh – also is reportedly likely to join the BJP.
