Applications are invited for recruitment of various pharmaceutical jobs or positions in Sikkim Manipal University.
Sikkim Manipal University is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Junior Pharmacist in Central Referral Hospital (CRH). His Excellency Shri R. Venkataraman, the then President of India on 22nd August 1991 laid down the foundation stone of CRH. This has initiated a long journey to set new standards in the field of health care in this North-Eastern part of the country. It has the best amalgamation of a highly talented medical specialist, state of the art equipment, well-trained paramedical staff and other support services under a single roof. It is a nine-storied structure with a floor space of more than 3,00,000 sq. ft and houses 500 beds. CRH has fulfilling the vision of providing contemporary world-class healthcare facilities to the people of Sikkim right at their doorsteps. The hospital campus has first-rate facilities like laboratories, workshops and practice school for hands-on learning. There are also cafeterias, and transport facility for students' ease. A 24 hour Pharmacy situated in the level -3, which caters to the inpatients and outpatients. High quality medicines, life-saving drugs, IV fluids and vaccines are available. A 24 hour Central Laboratory having clinical pathology, Microbiology & Biochemistry is located in the level III of hospital building. Haemo Dialysis unit with 3 machines started functioning since 30 July 2009. Currently Unit is functioning with 8 machines which includes separate machine for positive patients. On an average 400 dialysis are being done in a month.
