Panchayat Polls: Tripura CM appeals to sustain BJP's "winning streak"
Agartala: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha, during an executive meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday, made a call for unity and discipline as the party gears up for the forthcoming Panchayat elections.
Highlighting the critical need for all BJP candidates to secure victories, Saha urged party karyakartas (workers) to effectively communicate the developmental initiatives undertaken by both State and Central governments for public welfare.
He emphasized the importance of disseminating information about these initiatives at the grassroots level.

Saha instructed party members and Karyakartas to focus on building connections with the public to ensure that the BJP's philosophy resonates with them.
"It is vital to highlight all the developmental works carried out for the welfare of the people and the country, bringing these matters to the grassroots level," he stated.

The Chief Minister also issued a strict warning against any form of violence, unrest, or unruly behaviour during the election period. He stressed the necessity of maintaining discipline and order to ensure a consistent victory.
"Our workers must refrain from any kind of violence, unrest, or unruly behaviour. Consistency of victory is essential, and our actions must reflect the philosophy of the BJP," Saha emphasized.
The meeting saw the attendance of BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharya, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Coordinator of NE Sambit Patra, Lok Sabha MPs Biplab Kumar Deb and Kriti Singh Debbarma, Former Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma, along with other MLAs, Ministers, BJP secretaries, District Presidents, and leaders from various morchas.
