Priyanka Gandhi to campaign in Tripura on April 16
Agartala: Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, a prominent leader of the All India Congress Committee, is poised to ignite enthusiasm in Tripura as she gears up for a significant road show in Agartala on April 16, leading up to the forthcoming Lok Sabha election.
During a press conference, Sudip Roy Barman, a former Minister and MLA, enthusiastically announced Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's impending visit.
The General Secretary of All India Congress is scheduled to arrive in Agartala at 2:15 PM, where she will kick start a dynamic road show, traversing through various areas in and around the city.
Her itinerary includes addressing a gathering at Surya Chowmuhani before her departure.
Roy Barman fervently called upon all supporters to rally behind this event, emphasizing the crucial role it plays in the electoral landscape.
“Victory in this election will be for truth, as we have the unwavering support of the people. I urge everyone, from the general public to INDI bloc workers, to join us in ensuring the success of this road show,” he remarked with conviction.
Responding to queries regarding additional engagements, Sudip elaborated that while they had initially sought vehicles for programs in other locations, logistical constraints had presented challenges.
“Despite our best efforts, most vehicles were already booked by the CEO's office. The remaining drivers expressed difficulties in providing their vehicles for the roadshow or any other program. Given the prevailing circumstances, we have made this decision,” he explained.
