BJP will win both seats in Barak Valley, says Assam CM
Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday accompanied the party candidate in Silchar, Parimal Suklabaidya while submitting the nomination for the upcoming Lok Sabha Election.
Sarma said that the 2024 election is much easier for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) because of the Election Commission’s delimitation process.
“Even the 2019 election was tough for us but our candidates in Barak Valley won. This year’s election is much easier because of Delimitation. However, we won’t talk about the margin of win now, I’ll be coming here for campaigns in the next few weeks,” he said.
After Silchar, Sarma will accompany the party’s candidate in Karimganj in his nomination submission along with the party’s state president Bhavesh Kalita and other leaders.
