Assam: Fatal train accident claims a man’s life in Raha

Guwahati: In a tragic turn of events, a man was found dead after being struck by a speeding train at the Baruabali area near Raha under Kampur police station on Monday noon.

The tragic incident unfolded when the man unaware of the train coming towards him tried to cross a railway track.

The people gathered near the fatal side immediately and later identified the victim as Mozidul Haque, an inhabitant of Kakatigaon village.

Meanwhile, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) from Chaparmukh was immediately informed and they rushed to the spot and an investigation is presently underway.
