Guwahati: The manager of the Dibrugarh Gymkhana Club in Upper Assam was reportedly found dead under suspicious conditions.

The deceased was identified as Bhim Razzaq, the manager of the Dibrugarh Gymkhana Club.

Razzaq's body was found hanging inside the club premises on Wednesday night.

While it was initially claimed to be a case of suspected suicide, his family has refused to accept the possibility.

Razzaq's brother claimed he had been harassed by a club member over a financial disagreement, and the family suspects a connection between the dispute and the death.

The discovery of the body drew a large crowd, prompting police intervention to maintain order.
