Drawing parallels with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's “chowkidar” (watchman) analogy, Dr. Saha declared that they are the custodians of Tripura, and corruption has no room in the state.

“Our government is highly vigilant. It operates with transparency, much like our Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who refers to himself as a chowkidar. We, too, are the chowkidars of Tripura. Corruption will find no haven here. Our government will address corruption resolutely, regardless of the individual involved. We are working to earn the trust of the people by assisting those in need,” stated Dr. Saha.

Dr. Saha attributed PM Modi's success to the trust and support of the people, expressing confidence in a robust victory for the NDA-led BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

He emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring peaceful elections and highlighted the transition from a history of electoral violence to the current state of democratic harmony.

Enumerating the achievements since the formation of the BJP government, Dr. Saha focused on fortifying the Public Distribution System (PDS) and procuring 1.92 lakh metric tonnes of paddy from farmers since 2018.

Additionally, he highlighted the provision of rations to the displaced Bru community, emphasizing the pivotal role of Tripura Nyajya Mullyer Dokan Parichalak Samity in ensuring the effective functioning of the PDS.
