National Institute of Technology (NIT) Durgapur is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor.

No. of posts : 1

Eligibility Criteria :

PhD .

Ten years after Ph.D. or thirteen years total working experience, out of which seven years
should be after Ph.D.

At least three years at the level of Associate Professor with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 9500 (7th CPC, Level -13A2) or four years at the level of Associate Professor with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 9000 (7th CPC, Level -13A1) or combination of Rs. 9000 (7th CPC, Level -13A1) and Rs. 9500 (7th CPC, Level -13A2) or equivalent in an Institution of repute or Research & Development lab or relevant Industry

Eligibility Criteria :

PhD

Six years after Ph.D. of which at least Three years at the level of Assistant Professor with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 8000 (7th CPC, Level -12)

Or

Nine years total working experience, of which Three years should be after Ph.D., with at least Three years at the level of Assistant Professor with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 8000 (7th CPC, Level -12)

Eligibility Criteria :

For Assistant Professor Grade-I, PhD and three years after Ph.D. or six years total Teaching and Research experience in reputed academic Institute or Research and Development Labs or relevant industry.

For Assistant Professor Grade-II, PhD passed

Last date for filling and submission of online application form for considerations is 30th April 2024.

Technology Durgapur-713209, West Bengal on or before 10th May 2024 till 5 PM

Application Fees :

The Candidate should pay a non-refundable application processing fee of Rs. 1500/- (Rupees One
Thousand Five Hundred) for General, OBC and EWS candidates by SBI Collect as per the details given in the payment link.

SC, ST, PWD & Female candidates need not to pay the application processing fee

For the Indian Nationals applying from abroad (for all categories), an application fee of USD 40 or
Rs.3500/- is required to be paid
