Nine candidates from Manipur crack UPSC civil services exam 2023

IMPHAL: As many as nine candidates from Manipur have successfully cleared the union public service commission (UPSC) civil services examination (CSE) 2023.

The examination, conducted by the UPSC in September 2023, saw the interviews for the personality test held from January to April 2024, with the results being announced on Tuesday (April 16).

Out of a total of 1016 candidates recommended for appointment based on their performance in the examination, 180 candidates have been selected for Indian Administrative Service (IAS), 200 candidates for Indian Police Service (IPS), and 37 for Indian Foreign Service (IFS).

Among these, the following candidates from Manipur have secured their ranks:

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), on Tuesday (April 16), announced final result of Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2023.

The results have been declared by the UPSC on its official website – upsc.gov.in.

Aspiring candidates who participated in the final personality test/interview round can access their results by visiting the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.

Here are the steps to check the UPSC CSE 2023 Final Results:

1. Visit the official website upsc.gov.in.
2. Look for the link titled ‘Civil Service Examinations 2023 Final Results’ under the What’s New section on the homepage.
3. Click on the link. This will open a new window displaying the PDF containing the names of the candidates who cleared the exam.
4. Download the PDF and ensure to keep a printout for future reference.

The list of UPSC CSE toppers for 2023 is prepared purely on merit basis.

According to the list, Aditya Srivastava, Animesh Pradhan and Donuru Ananya Reddy have emerged as the top three performers in the UPSC Civil Services exam 2023, securing All-India-Ranks (AIR) of 1st, 2^nd and 3rd, respectively.
