Union Public Service Commission is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of 147 vacant positions or jobs altogether on direct recruitment basis.

Name of post : Scientist-B (Mechanical) in National Test House, Department of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution

No. of posts : 1

Essential Qualification :

(A) (i) Master’s Degree in Physics from a recognized University/ Institute altogether; and

(ii) One year practical experience also in the testing/ calibration of engineering materials/ products or in precision measurement/ metrology in a recognised Laboratory/ Institute.

OR

(B) (i) Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering/
Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute altogether; and

(ii) Two years’ practical experience also in the testing/ calibration of engineering materials/ products or in precision measurements/ metrology in a recognized Laboratory/ Institute.

Essential Qualification :

Master’s degree in Anthropology of a recognized University with more than fifty percent papers
