Nine killed after bus falls into gorge in J&K, terrorist attack suspected

Guwahati: A bus carrying pilgrims on their way to the Shiv Khori cave temple in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district was reportedly attacked by terrorists on Sunday evening.

The bus driver lost control of the vehicle after coming under fire, causing it to plunge into a gorge.

Officials confirmed nine fatalities and 33 injuries in the incident.

Rescue operations have been completed, but the identities of all the passengers are yet to be determined as they are not local residents.

Police, army, and paramilitary forces have been deployed to the scene.

So far no organisation has claimed responsibility for the alleged attack.
