Former Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren granted bail by high court

RANCHI: Jharkhand high court, on Friday (June 28), granted bail to former chief minister Hemant Soren.

Hemant Soren was granted bail by the Jharkhand high court in a land scam case.

Soren was lodged at the Birsa Munda central jail in Ranchi on charges of money laundering related to a land scam.

Earlier on Thursday (June 27), a special PMLA court in Ranchi had extended the judicial custody of former Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren by an additional fourteen days.
