Guwahati: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been sent to a 15-day judicial custody by a Delhi Court on Monday.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader will be in judicial custody till April 15 in connection with a money laundering case related to the alleged liquor policy scam case.

Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Diroctorate (ED) on March 21.

He was remanded to judicial custody by Special CBI judge Kaveri Baweja of the Rouse Avenue Courts after the ED did not seek any further remand.

The Delhi Chief Minister was produced at the court after the ED custody ended.

He was remanded to ED custody on March 22 and was remanded to an additional four days of custody after the end of the initial six days.

It may be mentioned that Arvind Kejriwal allegedly had skipped nine summons by the ED.

Two other AAP leaders, Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh who are also accused in the case.

Both of them are also in judicial custody.
