Guwahati: Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, held a press conference at the AICC headquarters in New Delhi on allegations of voter fraud in Haryana.

He announced that he is dropping the “H-Files” and claimed that a Brazilian model’s profile had been used to manipulate votes.

Earlier, on September 1, Gandhi had warned the BJP that he would soon reveal compelling evidence, saying that the information presented regarding Mahadevpura in Maharashtra was only a “small preview” compared with what he intended to disclose. Speaking at a public event marking the conclusion of the 16-day ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra,’ Gandhi criticized the BJP, accusing the party of undermining India’s constitutional framework.

He stated, “Those who were responsible for Mahatma Gandhi’s assassination are now attempting to weaken the Constitution of India.”

During the yatra, Congress focused on raising awareness about voter rights and protesting alleged instances of “vote chori” (vote theft) and irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.

In Patna, Gandhi addressed Mahagathbandhan supporters, emphasizing that the party had already exposed malpractice in Mahadevpura and promised a more significant disclosure soon.

“We had revealed an ‘atom bomb’ in Mahadevpura, but soon we will release a ‘hydrogen bomb.’ BJP, prepare yourselves. The truth will come out,” he said, adding that after this revelation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi “will find it difficult to face the country.”

Gandhi also expressed his appreciation to the people of Bihar for supporting the yatra.
