Dimapur: The second day of the recruitment rally for Nagaland police constables in several districts on Thursday saw a large number of candidates participating in physical tests.

The recruitment rally is being held from January 7 to January 13.

In Noklak town, the Noklak District Level Screening Committee (DSLC) conducted the rally at Noklak public ground Noklak.

Briefing the candidates, presiding officer, Noklak DSLC, Kuhovi Sema, DIG (Range) Mokokchung, said the recruitment will be fair and free. He asked the candidates to follow the rules and cooperate with the recruitment officer for the successful conduct of the recruitment.

Altogether, 1,344 candidates are participating for 42 posts under Noklak district.

The candidates will undergo physical, medical standard and written tests for appointment.

In Zunheboto, the screening of candidates in the ongoing rally is being held at the police reserve ground, Zunheboto.

In Kiphire, the rally is being conducted at the parade ground of the 14th NAP (IR) Battalion, Okhezung, Kiphire.

Candidates who qualify in the physical and medical standards and successfully clear the physical efficiency tests will be shortlisted for the written examination based on the ratio fixed by the Departmental Recruitment Board.

A separate notification will be issued after the completion of the physical and medical tests. The written examination is scheduled for January 20 in Kiphire town.

In Mon, the second day of the recruitment rally was held at Mon local ground.
