Dimapur: A stretch of National Highway 2 between Jakhama and Viswema in Nagaland's Kohima district will be temporarily closed from 3 pm to 6 pm on Sunday, May 3.
The highway will be closed to facilitate the recovery of a truck that fell into the Kehorü River in this stretch.
The route will remain closed to all forms of vehicular traffic during this period, Kohima DC B. Henok Buchem said in an order.
The district administration has urged commuters to use the alternative route via Viswema–Kidima–Chakhabama during the closure period to avoid inconvenience.
