Nagaland hosts inaugural roundtable with six country partners ahead of Hornbill Festival
Dimapur: Nagaland hosted its inaugural Roundtable and Networking Dinner with Country Partners on 30 November 2025 at Hotel Vivor in Kohima, ahead of the Hornbill Festival.
Organised by the Investment & Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN), the event brought together international diplomats, government officials, and industry stakeholders to explore economic, cultural, and strategic partnerships.
Austria, France, Ireland, Malta, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom were named official country partners for the 2025 Hornbill Festival, while Arunachal Pradesh was designated as the State Partner.
Senior diplomats, including ambassadors and high commissioners, attended the roundtable to discuss opportunities in tourism, trade, investment, technology, and creative industries.
The event aimed to establish practical collaborations, joint ventures, and investment pipelines, leveraging the Hornbill Festival to combine cultural exchange with economic growth.
Participants highlighted potential partnerships across education, sports, health, digital industries, food processing, infrastructure, and agriculture, reflecting Nagaland’s vision of long-term engagement with both international and regional stakeholders.
