Kohima: On his first visit to Nagaland after being appointed by the BJP as the party’s state in-charge, Anil K Antony assured that the Northeast state would continue to receive support from the central government to ensure the state’s growth.

Interacting with the media, Antony said, “We (BJP) have a very strong organisation here in Nagaland.”

“I have started meeting all the leaders here and I am yet to begin meetings with our allies and state leaders,” he said.

He further said: “We will ensure that Nagaland will get all the support from the Centre and the state will continue growing.”

AK Antony’s visit is seen crucial to bolstering BJP’s presence and strengthening its ties with local leaders and allies in Nagaland.

During his interactions, Antony stated that the central government is committed to Nagaland’s progress.

“We are committed to working hand-in-hand with the state leadership and our allies to address the unique challenges faced by Nagaland and to unlock its full potential,” he said.

Anil K Antony said the Northeast region witnessed unprecedented developments in the last few years.
