Nagaland: Re-scrutiny of answer scripts permitted in any number of subjects, says NBSE

Dimapu: The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) said re-scrutiny of answer scripts in any number of subjects of HSLC and HSSLC examinations 2024 is permitted.

Issuing instructions pertaining to the board exams on Friday, the NBSE, in a notification, said candidates applying for re-scrutiny can apply online at www.nbsenl.edu.in up to May 15 (revised date) with the prescribed fee per subject. The candidates can also apply with a hard copy in the board’s office.

The notification said the re-scrutiny result will be sent to all registered institutions but will not be notified individually.

It added that re-scrutiny results will also be made available on the board's website nbsenl.edu.in

The board said the HSLC improvement examination will be conducted in June 2024.

A successful candidate at the main HSLC examination desirous of improving his/her performance is eligible to sit for this Improvement examination in four or fewer subjects.

A candidate who qualified at the main HSLC examination but secured a ‘needs improvement grade/failed in one subject’ is also eligible to sit for the HSLC improvement examination.

The candidates have to apply online through the NBSE portal from May 10 to May 18. After the online application is submitted, the student will get a message to give their examination fee to the respective school/centre.

The school/centre after verifying the forms will make the payment online with the prescribed fee per subject.

The notification said the student will have to surrender their original admit card and mark sheet to the examination centre/school once it is finalised for improvement examination.

It said the HSLC/HSSLC compartmental examination will be conducted in June 2024.

The notification also informed that the provision to download the migration certificate will be made available at the NBSE portal www.nbsenl.edu.in. The migration certificate will be digitally signed.

However, those candidates who desire to avail of the hard copy of the migration certificate can collect it from the board’s office during office hours once they receive their original mark sheets.
