Nagaland: Jentiren set to represent state at Femina Miss India
Guwahati: Jentiren Jamir is all set to represent Nagaland in the upcoming Femina Miss India 2024 scheduled for October 16 in Mumbai.
A 21-year-old Jentiren emerged as the second runner-up in the Miss Nagaland 2022 following which she came into the limelight.
Jentiren, now 23, is pursuing her master’s degree in sociology with the objective of becoming a social activist.
She completed her schooling from Mokokchung’s Jubilee Memorial School and bachelor’s degree from Dimapur’s Tetso College.
Jentiren says participating in the Femina Miss India beauty pageant is a dream come true to achieve a milestone towards her journey to understand her true self, boost confidence and growth.
She believes this beauty pageant is a challenge for her to go beyond boundaries and bring out the best in her.
During the event, Jentiren will showcase the rich Naga culture and values while setting the principle of beauty with a purpose.
Jentiren feels this platform will help her grow both personally and professionally.
Jentiren has been working for the upliftment of the underprivileged people and aims to be the voice of the marginalised section of the society in the days to come.
