Two Mizoram schools to represent state at national Reading Decathlon in Indore

Aizawl: Two Mizoram schools, Mount Carmel School and La Montessori School, will represent the state at the prestigious Reading Decathlon organised by Food4thought on November 29 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

The state’s four qualifiers who topped the Mizoram-level competition will compete in the national event.

Mount Carmel School will be represented by Rebek Malsawmzuali and Krista Roluahpuia Khiangte, while Malsawmhlui Pachuau and Joshua Lalawmpuia will participate on behalf of La Montessori School.

Before the team left for Indore, Mizoram Youth Commission (MYC) Chairman Malsawmzuala Ralte met the students at the MYC Conference Hall on Wednesday.

He congratulated them for becoming the first-ever participants from Mizoram to enter the Reading Decathlon and encouraged them to uphold strong reading habits while striving to make the state proud.
