AIZAWL: Two Myanmar based Zo ethnic organisations will hold talks in Aizawl to sort out differences and restore peace between the two organisations, sources said.

The talks between Zomi Re-Unification Organisation (ZORO) and Chin National Front (CNF) will be held  on Saturday under the initiative of Zo Re-Unification Organisation (ZORO), a Mizo group representing all Zo ethnic tribes of India, Myanmar and Bangladesh, it said.

The parley will be chaired by ZORO vice president and MLA Lalmuanpuia Punte, it said.

Due to internal feud, recently, there were armed clashes between ZRO's armed wing Zomi Revolutionary Army (ZRA) and Chin National Army (CNA) in Myanmar leading to the death of some cadres .

ZORO has termed the incident unfortunate and has been taking initiative to find a solution by negotiating with both the organisations since then.
