Applications are invited for recruitment of various project based positions or jobs in Mizoram University.
Mizoram University is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Laboratory Assistant in Higher Education Financing Agency (HEFA) sponsored Research Project entitled "Development of Sustainable Composite Beads for the Removal of Various Emerging Micro-pollutants from Municipal Wastewaters" at the Department of Chemistry. Mizoram University was created by an Act of Parliament (No. 8 of 2000) and it became functional from 2nd July, 2001. The University is altogether located at Aizawl, the capital city of Mizoram and is spread over 978.1988 acres in an area on the outskirts of the city. Prior to the existence of Mizoram University, the North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) with headquarters at Shillong was operating a campus in Mizoram

Qualification : MSc in Chemistry/Environmental Science or M.Tech (Environmental/Chemical Engineering) .
Applicants having NET/GATE will be given preference in selection.
Age: The age limit to apply for the position is altogether below 28 years.
The upper age limit relaxation along with the preference to the SC/ST/OBC will also be given as per GOI norms
Salary : Rs. 31000/- per month + HRA

B.Sc. in Chemistry/Environmental Science or 3 years diploma in Engineering and Technology (Related subject)
Age: The age limit to apply for the position altogether is below 28 years.
The upper age limit relaxation along with the preference to the SC/ST/OBC will also be given as per GOI norms
Salary : Rs. 20000/- per month + HRA
