Applications are invited for recruitment of various teaching positions or jobs in Mizoram University.
Mizoram University is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Assistant Professor in Architecture programme purely on Short-term Contract basis. The engagement on Short-term Contract shall be for a period of up to one year initially. On the basis
of performance review, the teacher may be reappointed for another period as decided by the
University after a mandatory break in service.

Qualifications :
First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
OR
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture AND First class M.Arch. or equivalent
Desirable Specialization : Landscape Architecture/ Conservation Architecture/ General
Architecture/ Sustainable Architecture/ Building Engineering & Management/ Urban Design/ Interior Design

Experience :
B. Arch First Class with minimum Three years experience
OR
M.Arch First Class at either level B.Arch or M.Arch with one year experience
Only candidates registered with Council of Architecture (CoA) under the provisions of the Architects
Act, 1972 shall be eligible to apply.

Applications shall be submitted by super scribing the post applied for along with the Post Code on the envelope.

Application Fees :
The prescribed application fee is Rs. 1,000.00 (Rs.500.00 for SC/ST/EWS applicant on submission of supporting Certificate).
Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) and all Women applicants get full exemption from payment of
the prescribed fees on submission of relevant Disability Certificate issued by the competent
authority
