Shillong: Three faculty members of North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) in Meghalaya have been named among the world’s top 2% scientists by Stanford University.

The honored researchers from NEHU are Prof. A. K. Chandra from the Department of Chemistry, Prof. Timir Tripathi from the Department of Zoology, and Dr. Shruti Shukla from the Department of Nanotechnology.

Their groundbreaking work has earned them international recognition and has placed NEHU on the global scientific map.

Prof. A. K. Chandra, a renowned expert in theoretical and computational chemistry, has made significant contributions to understanding complex molecular systems.

Prof. Timir Tripathi, a leading figure in biochemistry and biophysics, has focused on protein structure and drug discovery. Dr. Shruti Shukla, a rising star in nanotechnology, has explored the synthesis, characterization, and application of nanostructures in various fields.
