A meeting was held on September 2 to address the concerns of seven private hospitals in Shillong, which have expressed reluctance to sign a fresh agreement due to unpaid dues.

The department has appealed to hospitals to provide uninterrupted services to patients while efforts are being made to make offline payments.

The CEO of MHIS will visit the NHA office in New Delhi on September 5 to escalate the matter.
