Guwahati: The Khun Hynñiewtrep National Awakening Movement (KHNAM) has strongly condemned the Meghalaya government alleging it of misusing power in appointing the new State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (SCPCR) chairperson.

Passah also criticized alliance partners of the MDA for their silence on the matter, suggesting that they have been compromised by receiving their own share of government appointments.
