Qualification :

MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject

OR

MSc with PhD for preclinical subjects like Anatomy, Physiology & Biochemistry

Experience :

a. Associate Professor in the subject for three years in a permitted/ recognized medical college/ institution.

b. Should have at least four Research publications (at least two as Associate Professor) [only original papers, metaanalysis, systematic reviews, and case series that are published in journals indexed
in Medline, PubMed, Central Science Citation Index, Science Citation Index, Expanded Embase, Scopus, Directory of Open Access Journals (DoAJ) will be considered]

c. Should have completed the Basic Course in Medical Education Technology from Institutions designated by NMC.

d. Should have completed the Basic Course in Biomedical Research from Institutions designated by NMC.

Experience :

a. Assistant Professor in Anatomy for four years in a recognized medical college. It is mandatory
to have a minimum of two Research publications in Indexed/national journal.

b. Provided that these research publications are published / accepted for publication in the
journals by the National Association / Societies of the respective specialties as the first author / second author.

c. Further, provided that the requirement of two research publications for promotion to the post of Associate Professor should be fulfilled with two research publication must be published during the tenure of Assistant Professor.

d. Should have completed the Basic Course in Medical Education Technology (CBME) from institutions designated by NMC.

e. Should have completed the Basic Course in Biomedical Research (BCBR) from Institutions designated by NMC
