Applications are invited for recruitment of various technical positions or jobs in NIT Meghalaya.

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Guest Faculty in Department of Electrical Engineering purely on temporary / contractual basis. The appointment is for one semester only i.e. Autumn Semester 2024 w.e.f. 03.09.2024 to 06.12.2024. The authority reserves the right of accepting/rejecting any or all the applications without assigning any reason thereof.

Essential Qualification :

1. B. Tech / B.E. in EE or EEE
2. Ph.D. (completed or thesis submitted) with specialization altogether in Electric Drives / Microprocessor Interfacing / Power Systems / Power Electronics / Control Systems

Salary : Rs. 50,000/- per month as per the institute norms altogether.

Selection Procedure :

Candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview on 2^nd September, 2024 from 09:30 am onwards at Department of EE, NIT Meghalaya, Bijni Complex, Laitumkhrah, Shillong

Applicants need to fill in the required data in the attached application form.

The duly filled application form may be submitted in soft copy along with the scanned copies of original documents also mentioned in the application form for verification.

The duly filled application form may be sent to email id: hod.ee@nitm.ac.in

The subject of the email should be “Guest Faculty Post_candidate name_EE_2024.”

No separate email/correspondence will also be sent to the candidates for the above interview.

Candidates must carry the duly filled original application form along with all the relevant original documents (with one set of Xerox copy) altogether on the day of walk-in interview.

Incomplete application form shall also not be considered for further process.
