Applications are invited for recruitment of various technical positions or jobs in NEIGRIHMS Shillong Meghalaya.
North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) Shillong Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Project Technician-III (Senior Lab Assistant) and Project Technician-II (Field Assistant / Field Worker) for the project entitled "Development and validation of prediction equations for respiratory impedence by forced oscillation technique in a healthy Indian population- a multicentric cross-sectional study."

Essential qualification and experience :
12th Pass in science subjects with a two-year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician or Paramedical Worker (PMW), or related subject.
OR,
One-year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician plus one year of experience in health-related research projects. Or Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) laboratory experience.
A BSc degree is considered equivalent to three years of experience.
Two years nursing Diploma or BSc

Essential qualification and experience:
- Five years of experience in Data collection from field or Community (Field work) or social work from a government institution or recognized institute gained after acquiring the minimum essential qualification (12th pass,).
- 12th/intermediate with science subject and BSc (Social science/Sociology/science) is equivalent to 2-and 3 years' experience respectively.
- 12th/Intermediate pass with 3 yrs. years of experience in Data collection from field/ Community (Field work) or social work from a government institution or recognized institute gained after acquiring the minimum essential qualification.
- B.Sc. with 2 yrs. years of experience in data collection from field / Community (field work) or social work from a government institution or recognized institute gained after accquiring the minimum essential qualification
- Willing to work in the field

Selection Procedure :
Candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview on 29th July 2024 from 10:45 AM onwards in Department of Physiology, New Medical College Building (Director Block side) 2nd Floor, Mawdiangdiang, NEIGRIHMS, Shillong
Physical registration and verification of registered candidates and documents: 9 AM to 10:30 AM
