Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival 2025: Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma unveils star-studded lineup

Guwahati: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma announced the lineup for the Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival 2025, scheduled for November 14 and 15 at Polo Ground.
The festival will feature international performers including Irish rock band The Script, R&B artist Jason Derulo, DJ Diplo, pop band Aqua, and Bollywood performer Nora Fatehi.
A tribute to singer Zubeen Garg will be presented by Zublee, Priyanka, Prabin, and Arupjyoti on the second day.
“The Cherry Blossom Festival 2025 will showcase music, art, and culture. We invite citizens and visitors to attend this celebration,” the Chief Minister said. He noted that the government expects over 50,000 visitors during the event.
Local performers such as Meba Ofilia, Dappest and adL, rock band Girish and the Chronicles, and Arius will also participate.
The festival will feature activities including the Mr. and Ms. Cherry Blossom competition, cosplay, and Cherry Blossom arm wrestling.
Multiple festival zones will be set up across the stadium, main stage, second ground, Polo Ground, and MFA Ground.

The festival has previously received recognition, including the Golden Banyan Award for Best Cultural Music & Dance at The Week Heritage Awards 2025, and two Gold Awards at the WOW Awards Asia 2025 for “Special Event of the Year – Government/Organisation” and “Festival of the Year.”
